The AuroJeeva Trust is a charitable entity whose purpose and objective is to serve in the evolving of thought, ideation, practice and productivity of various aspects of human life. Our canvas is large and extends to all kinds of activity including education, environment & conservation, policy & governance, health & medicine, science & technology, sports, arts and media. The aim is to extend a helping hand towards progress and create a stepping stone towards change; not charity for charity’s sake but a means to effect a concrete shift in thought and practice.

The driving force and motivation behind the AuroJeeva Trust is a raising of the consciousness of the individual and the collective and thus both our motto and logo are inspired by Helianthus, known commonly as the Sunflower, to which the Mother of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram gave the spiritual significance of Consciousness turned to the Light which “thirsts for the light and cannot live without it”.

“Consciousness is made up of two elements, awareness of self and things and forces and conscious-power.
Awareness is the first thing necessary, you have to be aware of things in the right consciousness, in the right way, seeing them in their truth; but awareness by itself is not enough. There must be a Will and a Force that make the consciousness effective.” – Sri Aurobindo
